| Smell | Rye, mostly, although its pretty mild. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Taste | (Blind taste); Sweet rye flavors open, followed by a modest burn and a sudden, really abrupt finish. Very mild and clean with some pear and a touch of cream amid the smoke. Overall it's not bad. There's a lack of character beyond the opening and really quick taste, but that taste was clean and crisp. I'm going with a mid 50 score, it's just a bit shy of recommendable given its hit and run taste but actually pleasant enough to drink. If any Windsor people read this (ha!); sorry I underestimated your beverage, maybe you should finish it in something to give it a bit more flavor. I'll certainly be checking if Windsor has any other expressions. | ||||||||||||||||||||
